Day 9 - powerpointlessness

It is a really interesting article and talks about the very basic and important points to be considered when creating a powerpoint presentation. I remember the last powerpoint presentation done by one of my classmates. It was really boring and each slide contained very long paragraph that she read outloud while presenting. In fact, she had created this powerpoint to avoid memorizing the main points she wanted to mention. I liked the idea of not having more than 12 words on each slide. It is also important to avoid "special effects" that distract instead of help the audience to understand the subject being presented. I think both teachers and students need to get some training on the contents of the Powerpoints on top of the technical issues.
